The aim of the meeting was to promote business-to-business connections and cooperation in the garment sector between the two countries. Both sides expressed a willingness to work together to tap into the trade potential between the two countries.

It is observed that Bangladesh and Vietnam are major players in the global apparel market and there is a huge scope for them to complement each other in order to derive two-way trade benefits.
