Private equity powerhouse PAI Partners has reached a definitive agreement to acquire British prestige skincare brand Elemis from L’Occitane Group. Targeted for completion in early 2027, concludes L’Occitane’s seven-year ownership. Since its 2019 buy, Elemis nearly doubled its net sales to exceed $300 million annually, with digital channels generating roughly 50 percent of revenues. PAI Partners plans to deepen institutional backing for Elemis's core product lines while ramping up retail expansion in the United States and the United Kingdom. This capital commitment unlocks the next phase of international scaling, reinforcing the brand’s positioning across prestige skincare markets, notes a market strategist familiar with the transaction.

Social commerce engine steps into physical retail realm

Simultaneously, influencer affiliate platform ShopMy marked a strategic transition into experiential commerce by launching its inaugural physical retail location in New York City. Having facilitated over $500 million in brand sales, the platform is converting creator-curated online recommendation loops into physical touchpoints. The move demonstrates how tech-enabled commerce operators are utilizing physical stores to lower customer acquisition costs and drive multi-channel brand exposure.

Maintaining largest market footprint in North America and Europe

Founded in 1989, Elemis manufactures and distributes high-performance skin health products, led by its flagship Pro-Collagen line. Operating across spa channels, digital storefronts, and premium global retailers, the brand maintains its largest market footprint in North America and Europe. PAI Partners' pending acquisition aims to drive long-term revenue growth through heightened digital investment and expanded international retail distribution.
