"The conclave was very well managed with a strong participation by the captains of the industry. It ended up achieving all its objectives.
The quality of speakers and panelists was very high. They provided a lot of thought provoking insights and analysis.
We were particularly impressed with the Telangana Government. They should be an inspiration to other states on how to professionally attract investments and create jobs and opportunities for their people.
Just one suggestion, it would be better to start the event a little later as it would enable everyone to plan their arrival and departure without missing anything "

However multiple powerpoint presentations in panel discussions were not required as most of the stuff was repetitive. Also the last panel discussion was too big, had 8 panelists along with moderator."

"Kudos to you and your team for pulling up a glitch free event of this magnitude. The mid night oil burnt by the team has been vindicated. However, participation at the event was skewed towards North and West. Representation from south too was skeletal. East was conspicuous by its absence. Around 20 more a lister owners/ CEO s should have been at least 20 odd for better effectiveness. The panelist focussed more on past and stats, which were repeated by few pannelists. Such statistics should be presented only once by some consultant/ institution head. The theme could have been ways and means to double the industries size by 2030. The menu of the food and so called High Tea needed much improvement."

The level of discussions during all the sessions were top notch and many insights emerged from the extremely experienced panel members. " I had the pleasure of attending the previous two panels on February 20, 2019. They were all wonderfully organized and provided a lot of relevant information to all the textile industry participants. Even in the panel in which I was a participant, it was wonderfully moderated by Dr Koshy and thanks a lot for him to have pitched the market part in the panel appropriately. He was a wonderful moderator covering various topics and coordinating the interests of a large panel. I strongly suggest that the same format should be replicated in the key textile cities such as Ahmedabad, Surat, Coimbatore/Tirupur, etc.
My suggestions for further improvement of the format are as goes below:
- Timeliness of the panels/discussions and limiting the presentations to one key presentation by the moderator – that may provide background information and highlight the questions that the moderator may delve upon
- Each participants shall be handed over two to three key topics around which his entire discussion shall be oriented and the moderator my align them to the overall panel theme
- Presentations such as by Dr Pradhan which were so meticulously prepared shall be stand-alone presentations which could have been provided a separate slot
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed being part of the audience and as part of the panel discussion as well.
